With influences ranging from classical music to Enya and Dead Can Dance you immediately know you’re about to spend a pleasant time with these musicians. In fact this release is meant as an introduction to the band Autumn Tears that surrounds itself with mist and esoteric elements whilst editing the dark evil from the Devil Doll catalogue. The fourteen tracks on this sampler disc come from three full CD’s, which sees vocal highlights backed by medieval inspired arrangements. Because of the budget, the violins of course are sampled, yet how powerful would this music be if they were backed by a huge authentic symphonic orchestra and choir? This almost has to be a sacral event! Maybe Autumn Tears has to try to perform in front of thousands in Rome. It would certainly enable the Pope to enjoy himself (and you as well of course!). Thanks for the flowers …
