Reviewed by: Davide Guidone, November 2003 After three years, here it is, the new chapter from the project called Condition Red. With this new release, titled simply II, the band offers a very varied musical mix, introducing us to a lot of genres like progressive, fusion, neoclassical metal and classic rock. The final result isn’t very convincing because of the poor production, as the drum sound isn’t quite good. Moreover, the vocals of Ella Grussner hasn’t anything other than low peaks, when perhaps for this music a higher vocals are needed. In contrast, the musical structure is better, where the musicians show off their instrumental qualities To demonstrate what I said previously, the best tracks are the instrumental ones. They are in a neoclassical style and Alex Masi plays his guitar in a Yngwie Malmsteen-like manner. But these good points don’t make this record a masterpiece… Rating: 2.5/5 More about II: Track Listing: The Warning (1:20) / Eye Of A Storm (5:25) / Cycles (5:03) / Time Passes By (4:46) / The Eagle's Return (3:03) / It's Not Too Late (6:58) / Rondo (3:24) / Why Won't You Hear Me?
