Green is a very intriguing band coming from Italy, and precisely, from Tuscany. After releasing in 2003 their first effort Life for Frontiers Records, and having played with such artists as Glenn Hughes and Royal Hunt, these Italian guys publish the new album called Of Love And Soul.

The band takes inspiration from the previous opus, but puts more experience and feeling into it at the same time. The songs are more aggressive, without losing that catchiness that was so evident on Life. The music is melodic and complex hard rock, with some touches of progressive that come along from time to time. Influences like The Who, Queen, Pink Floyd and even Emerson, Lake and Palmer (in the last song) can be heard.

The guitars are the main instrument and Fabrizio Pieraccini shows all his potential and great technique on the whole album. He is also responsible for the lead vocals: a good work indeed.

I'd like that all the stuff I'm used to receiving as promos would as good as this, and I wish the band all the success possible. They are worth it, I assure you.
