Platitude - Nine

Year of Release: 2004
Label: Scarlet Records
Catalog Number: SC 081-2
Format: CD
Total Time: 00:00:00

This is the second release by this Scandinavian band, Platitude, and from this record, the changes are evident: there are only a few references to Malmsteen and Symphony X, while a more original sound appears, mixed with progressive and metal elements.

The melodies are immediately catchy and all is referred to the melodies, even if it is prog metal with a neoclassical approach. The production is good and the musicians are very impressive. So this album represents a good choice for all prog neoclassical fans.
