Existence have released Live In Montreal - "Recorded in 1999 and saved from the vaults, it's the only live recording available from the Live The Experience tour. More than 70 minutes of music including the never released song 'The Last Battle.' No studio overdubs, just the real thing!"

Meanwhile, the band are recording material for their next album, Origins, due out later this year. "As its name implies, Origins will feature the original Existence concept created by Alan Charles in 1991.

"Played live over 80 times until 1996, the concept was never recorded in its entirety. Only the first act was released in 1994 as the Fragile Whisperings Of Innocence CD. The second act - Silent Screams In Violence - was shelved in favour of the Small People, Short Story, Little Crime concept after a change in personnel in 1998.

"Since then, demands for this second act were constant. But as Alan says:

"'After all these years, it would make no sense to release these songs. I think the original Existence concept must be presented in its entirety but since Small People our sound and recording approach evolved and I felt the need to record the whole thing over again. These songs deserve it.'

"Therefore Origins will be a double-album featuring all the music written for the original Existence concept between 1987 and 1991 plus the original libretto and more!"
