CD/DVD Releases: Getting The 3RDegree ... Ordering The DVD Before Nov 27 Yields Extras

Yes, ok, I know. 3RDegree sent this along on November 10, and here it is a full 12 days later, and we're just now posting it. It's not me who should be getting the third degree (well, maybe this 3RDegree, but not that third degree). In their first announced release since the Progression Magazine highly-rated studio album Narrow-Caster from late last year, 3RDegree will come out with a new DVD & Blu-ray -- 3RDegree: Live from ProgDay 2009. Recorded in early September, the video captures their 90-minute set with 5 HD cameras from the 15th Chapel Hill, North Carolina (USA) ProgDay progressive rock festival.

Details can be seen at the band's website www.3RDegreeONLINE.com but suffice to say, if the DVD is purchased as a pre-order before November 27, 2009 many extras can be had, including a signed copy, a download of all the audio on mp3, your vote for which extras you would like included when released early next year AND a limited-edition of Narrow-Caster (limited quantities) -- all for $19.99 ($29.99 Blu-ray).

Of particular interest for those familiar with the band is a Narrow-Caster heavy set list as well as 3 brand-new songs (both longer than any song on their latest album!) as well as a spirited cover of Genesis' "Me & Sarah Jane."
