CypherArts.com has released Italian keyboardist Alex Carpani's debut CD Waterline. Formally trained in composition and piano at the prestigious conservatory of Bologna, Alex Carpani's debut CD combines a European jazz-rock-classical fusion sensibility with the electricity of an American rhythm section and superb soloists on woodwinds and guitar. Besides Carpani on keyboards, Waterline features Le Orme vocalist Aldo Tagliapietra singing in both Italian and English.

Waterline will be available in a collectable mini LP format featuring artwork by classic progressive cover artist Paul Whitehead, this CD should appeal to fans of sophisticated progressive music.
