Concerts: Credto Announce 4 Live Dates For February

Posted on Monday, January 16 @ 12:00:00 UTC by nightowl

Credo will hit the road for a mini, 4-date tour this February (in conjunction with The Classic Rock Society). "2012 is here and it provides Credo with the opportunity to tour the critically acclaimed and commercially successful Against Reason (for the last time), in a series of dates across the UK," they write. "The years of hard work came to fruition in 2011 and no right thinking rock fan will begrudge Credo their recent recognition.

Comparisons are inevitable with a number of classic rock and prog bands over the last forty years. But Credo are no clones or wannabees, and the power and majesty of their recent critically acclaimed albums is brought to life perfectly in the ONE arena that really counts – LIVE!!!!"

In other Credo notes, the share:

"Mike’s been busy again!!! After an absence of 6 years (!) Landmarq, featuring our very own Mike Varty on keys and production, are just about to release a Special Edition version of their forthcoming new album Entertaining Angels. This is available only for online purchase directly from the band through their new website www.entertainingangels.info.

"Official release for the album is set for March and gigs will follow in May. The Special Edition is a limited boxed set pressing containing the Entertaining Angels album along with a Bonus CD of additional songs.

"Landmarq are very glad to be back!!

"Classic Rock Presents Prog

Thanks to Malcolm Dome for his lovely comments about the band in the latest CRPP at the David Cross Band gig at The Peel in November, and thanks to Malcolm, Jerry Ewing & Dave Ling for ongoing love and support.

"David Cross Band

"Thanks to TWANG for giving us this gig and the amazing David Cross (and his band) for being such gentlemen and a great band. And wasn’t it nice to see Helen Rees (a Credo member for 1 gig a long time ago) in the audience!!!

"Lycan Media

"We are amazingly proud and privileged to announce that we have joined forces with Lycan Media to help promote and support the band in the coming months which should help the band raise their profile. As I say, we are proud to be represented by Lycan and to be part of their rosta of bands along with Touchstone & DeeExpus amongst others.

"Against Reason CD & iTunes

"The album continues to sell, and gain great reviews across the world, and is now also available on iTunes, etc.; we thank you from the bottom of our hearts – the new album is already taking shape...
