CD/DVD Releases: Iona To Release Live Album This Autumn
Edge Of The World (Iona Live In Europe) - the NEW Iona 2CD live album. The first Iona live album for 9 years is due for release in the autumn - date still to be confirmed. Now titled Edge Of The World (Iona Live In Europe), it will be a 2CD album featuring songs played on gigs on the Another Realm tour. It can be pre-ordered right now from the Iona website and income from pre-sales will go towards the manufacturing costs. A download version will be available on release. Dave is making good progress on his solo album:
"I've finished writing the music for the three longest pieces on the album - which together come to about 40 minutes (yes it's a bit of an epic!!) and, in between fulfilling perks from the Indiegogo campaign and working on the Iona Live album tracks, I'm working on lyrics with two lyricist friends and finishing off three of the shorter tracks, so that they'll be ready in time to record Collin Leijenaar's drums in the second week of September and very soon after Randy George's bass parts - replacing my programmed guides. I'm thrilled with the way it's coming together and even have seven track left over for the follow up album! Once we're a bit nearer a release date it will be available to pre-order.
