The Bridge Of Light, the new album of the major Brazilian progressive band Apocalypse, arrives in stores in November. This will be the band's tenth release and it's divided in two parts: "Act I" including the tracks "The Dance Of Dawn," "Next Revelation," "Last Paradise," "Dreamer," "Meet Me" and "Ocean Soul"; and "Act II" with a conceptual suite divided in seven parts telling the history of an orphan young boy called Jimmy and his friend Z14, that together are searching for existential answers in a old and lost park.

The Bridge Of Light will be available in the entire South American territory through Free Mind Records. The big news is that the album will now be available in Europe and Asia as well through Musea Records. Apocalypse signed a new deal with this French progressive rock label that is considered one of the major companies of the whole world in that musical segment.

The relation between Apocalypse and Musea Records is not new. For years the record label based in Metz, France, was distributing and releasing Apocalypse's CDs in Europe, Asia and United States. When they heard about a new album of the band, they soon offered a new deal. "Musea and Apocalypse have a long common history," says Bernard Gueffier, president of the record label. "Musea released in exclusivity several albums by this major Brazilian progressive band. Apocalypse now found a domestic label for their new releases, but we imagined a special deal allowing Musea to go on promoting and distributing their music in Europe and Asia. Joining our forces with Som do Darma will hopefully allow Apocalypse to reach an even larger audience: their music deserves it!"

Besides this new deal with Musea Records, Apocalypse has other great news to celebrate. The band was confirmed to play Rites Of Spring Festival that will take place in Glenside, Philadelphia, in May, 2009. The band will play in the first evening of the festival aside the legendary progressive band Nektar.

This will be the second trip that the band does to the United States Of America. In 1999 Apocalypse played at ProgDay Festival in North Caroline and recorded there their first live album - Live In USA.
