Native American Musician Offers Rewards for Fan Participation through Indiegogo

Musician/keyboardist Lisa LaRue appeals to her fans to aid with recruiting funding for her new album release titled Fast And Blue. LaRue was seeking $5000 for support with recording and marketing her upcoming project which she estimates will be released early in 2011 using Kickstarters for funding, but did not reach the funding goal. Therefore, LaRue was unable to access any funds initiated by her fans.

"Kickstarters has a great program, but unfortunately, it is impossible to know the amount of possible donations we can gather and therefore set our goal beyond the range that was pledged," states LaRue. "Indiegogo allows a project to be funded for whatever amount is pledged."

At Indiegogo, LaRue has set a $1000 goal and has a variety of participation levels. For more information and to pledge to receive rewards, please visit www.indiegogo.com/Native-American-Creating-With-the-World-?a=53483&i=addr. Those who pledge to the project could qualify to receive a song written by LaRue for them or a loved one as well as numerous other rewards for their involvement.

LaRue recently released the album title track "Fast And Blue" featuring co-producer and vocalist John Payne (Asia featuring John Payne), Maxi Nil (Visions of Atlantis), Steve Adams (ARZ), Mike Alvarez (Bass Clef Experiment), and Merrill Hale (ARZ). The song is beginning to receive airplay around the world.

"We have been overwhelmed by the response to our previews and first single release, and know that the other songs are going to be just as spectacular, if not moreso," LaRue affrms. "By allowing fans to become part of the team through their involvement with production expenses, they can be assured that we are always thinking of them when we develop and produce these songs. We are always conscious that the listener deserves the best product we can come up with during its creation, and through participation at Indiegogo, they become stakeholders."

"My tribal work is very important to me, and I am dedicated to preserving our culture. This means I am an integral part of the cultural community. However, in order to make music with talented artists located in different geographical areas, we not only have to have professional software and computer equipment, but also travel at times to work together in mixing the final product for best results."
