"The End Of Innocence," a track off the new Symphony X album Iconoclast, is now available for streaming on the band’s Facebook page.*

Iconoclast is Symphony X’s eighth studio album and will be available in Europe on June 17th and in North America on June 21st. Illustrator and film concept artist Warren Flanagan (Watchmen, The Incredible Hulk, 2012) is the talent behind the album artwork. The new album is also the band's Nuclear Blast debut and the follow-up to 2007's Paradise Lost, which has sold over 60,000 copies in North America.

Symphony X just launched their North American headlining tour yesterday [April 21] in Philadelphia with Boston‘s Powerglove and Montreal’s Blackguard. *I'm listening right now, as I post this. I'm liking what I'm hearing. There's a rawness to the sound - heavier, beefier. This track has an edge to it. If the rest of the album is like this... I think fans'll dig it. There's another track linked to on the FB site... and I'm also listening to that (not simultaneously, of course). "Dehumanized" has the same rawness... I like. As with a lot of music in this genre, the keys do seem a separate element... but I think they'd get buried in the mix otherwise... -ed.
