CD/DVD Releases: New Musea Distributed Titles For September

Posted on Tuesday, September 20 @ 21:00:00 UTC by nightowl

Here's the rundown on several new Musea distributed relases that you should run down (but don't get run down looking for them... or run over... or the--):

These titles all come from Gonzo Multimedia (aka/previously Voiceprint; and not all are prog or prog-ish), and begin with The Byrds who take flight with The Lost Broadcasts. This is a series of releases that Gonzo has out (some just arrived in our mailbox, in fact), resurrecting, as it you might have guessed (and guessed I'd say), lost broadcasts. No data on the Gonzo website to give you details.

Also on tap, is The Winter Tree - The Winter Tree. Where I have hear that before... ... oh yeh, we just reviewed this title! You can find it here. In short, Winter Tree is the continuation of Magus, the project/band of Andrew Laitres (aka Andrew Robinson).

What else? Well in alpha order we've got: Everwood - Without Saving; Merrell Fankhauser - The Best Of...' Frequence Drift - Ghost; Hawkwind - Sonic Assassins - The Weird Tapes No. 1 and Hawkwind Live And Hawklords Studio - The Weird Tapes No. 2*; The Incredible String Band - The Lost Broadcasts; a trio from Mostly Autumn - Still Beautiful, Pass The Clock, and That Night In Leamington**; One World, One Voice - One World, One Voice, a Voiceprint compilation; Chris Thompson - Acoustic; and Xanadu - The Last Sunrise (no, nothing to do with Olivia Newton-John).

* incidentally, see our News Bits item later today/tonight for another Hawkwind's release. **apparently, what happens in Leamington...
