Here are some news items we scooped up over the last few weeks:

Vecteur K To Release New Concept Album. Unicorn Digital is proud to present the second studio album from Quebec Progressive Rock band Vecteur K. The new album, entitled Incident Au Café, will be available May 1st 2016.

The new Vecteur K concept album contains 10 songs sung in French. Vecteur K had released a first album on Unicorn Digital in 2009 entitled La Peur Du Desert.

Grave Digger's last collection of all-new material, Return Of The Reaper, was released in July 2014 via Napalm Records. The latest album was Exhumation - The Early Years, a special 35th-anniversary album containing re-recorded versions of the band's absolute classics with a dynamic and powerful sound of 2015.

Now it’s time to release some new all-time hits! The band featuring frontman Chris Boltendahl has announced that they are entering the studio in June to begin recording their new album for an early 2017 release. More info & news coming soon!

In the meantime meet these Heavy Metal legends live on tour together in North America with their German mates in Blind Guardian.

Underground Symphony is proud to announce a deal with Bob Oliver Lee for his second full-length solo album release. Bob Saliba is an eclectic French musician, who is also member of Galderia, Stonecast, Debackliner and Ninmah. Bob has been the leading voice for a project [covering] Ark's most famous songs with John Macaluso on drums. In his solo project he is engaged in progressive rock, featuring folk and hard 'n' heavy shades. Flying Music is a masterpiece for fans of Yes, Jethro Tull and Ayreon and it will be available this summer under Underground Symphony Records in deluxe digipak edition.

Italian bassist and composer Alberto Rigoni (solo artist, Vivaldi Metal Project, TwinSpirits, Kim Bingham), after the release of his fifth solo album Bassorama, is now working on a new metal band project and is looking for a singer.

"I'm looking for a rock/metal singer based in Italy or in Europe (e.g. Germany, Sweden, Austria) for a new metal band project. 3 classic Axel Rudi Pell albums will be re-released on vinyl through Steamhammer / SPV on June 03rd. Magic (original release 1997) contains the classics “The Clown Is Dead” and the title track and will be available the first time ever on vinyl. Oceans Of Time (original release 1998), the first album with singer Johnny Gioeli, contains the classics “Carousel” and the title track and is also available the first time ever on vinyl. And lastly, The Crest (original release 2010) contains the fan favourites “Too Late” and “Dreaming Dead” and contains one live bonus track.

All albums are limited to 1,000 units worldwide and come in a double gatefold version with 180 g black vinyl, printed inner sleeves and a CD in paper bag.

Pell and band will be out on tour in Europe this September on the "Game of Sins Tour 2016 Part 2" with opening act Lords Of Black (dates below). Pell and co also have scheduled appearances at Kavarna Rock in Bulgaria on July 2; Rock of Ages Festival in Germany on July 29; Pyraser Classic Rock Night in Germany on July 30; and at Wacken Open Air in Germany during the August 4-6th weekend.
