Though a little delayed, we received this item this week from Silent Planet Print Media: "After an awesome 4 year roller coaster ride, Matt Kaiser has decided to part ways with Images of Eden to pursue other musical ventures. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors!!! With this being said, I am very pleased to welcome Chris Lucci to Images of Eden. Chris is from the Houston, TX based progressive-metal band All Too Human and he will be recording drums for the 3rd Images of Eden CD (which I'm currently in the process of writing). Tracking should start late summer/ early fall of 2008. I have been a fan of Chris's playing since the 2003 release of All Too Human's Entropy. He is the perfect addition to the sound of Images of Eden and I'm very excited about the collaboration!! More details & timelines to follow," writes band vocalist Gordon Tittsworth.
"I have heard rumors from multiple sources that Images of Eden is breaking up. I want to officially state that this is 100% false. A long overdue internal reconfiguration/ re-evaluation had taken place over the holidays, but we are more alive than ever and very excited about our future direction."
Tittsworth also writes, "I'll be doing vocals for the Tijuana, Mexico based power-metal band, Machine's Fall. Tracking should begin in the next few months for a late 2008 release.
"I?ve also joined Iron Maiden Tribute band, Seventh Son, and we should begin playing out in April/May."
