Topic: Album Release News

On August 31, This Bread Is Mine, the third full-length album of the Polish prog-rockers Believe, was released in Europe. American fans of the band still have to wait till 6th October (the album will be distributed by MVD).

We [Metal Mind] are revealing yet another track from this album. You can listen to ?Mine? on the official MMP?s profile on MySpace: www.myspace.com/metalmindproductions.

This Bread Is Mine features eleven tracks dedicated to those who like to listen and seek sense in different sounds? The lyrics were written by Robert Sieradzki, a dedicated friend, who is also the author of the lyrics for Believe?s previous albums. His lyrics fit the music perfectly and just intuitively reflect the emotions evoked by the collection of sounds.

The music itself is a result of feelings and experiences of all Believe?s members: Mirek Gil (ex-Collage, ex-Mr. Gil, guitars), Karol Wr?blewski (vocals, flute, keyboards), Przemas Zawadzki (ex-Collage, bass guitar), Satomi (violin), and Vlodi Tafel (drums & percussion). The guest musicians included Paulina Druch (cello) and Bartek Zbroszczyk (guitar). The sound mix for the album was handled by Włodek Kowalczyk, Polish producer responsible for the completion of projects of such Polish legends as Klaus Mit Foch, R?że Europy, Daab, Oddział Zamknięty, Dezerter, and Lady Pank. In order to get more advanced sound quality, Believe collaborated with Andy Jackson, prominent British sound engineer, who had worked on Pink Floyd?s and David Gilmour?s albums. His most recent work was David Gilmour?s Live In Gdańsk. The album is available in two versions: as a standard CD and a digipak CD containing a bonus track.

Believe - an outstanding art-rock act formed by the guitarist Mirek Gil, the former leader and composer of Polish prog-rock legend Collage. Believe?s debut album Hope To See Another Day (2006) received very good reviews from both media and fans. The follow-up album entitled Yesterday Is A Friend (2008) brought powerful sound full of faith and melody and gained them many new fans. In July 2008 Metal Mind Productions released the band?s first DVD entitled Hope To See Another Day Live. At the end of 2008 the band changed their line-up. Believe has begun a new era of their career with a new vocalist ? Karol Wr?blewski.
