While people everywhere begin to shiver in view of the forthcoming winter, preparations for the next festival season are in full action. The organizers of the German Rock Hard Festival have invited Spock's Beard for next year (May 25th - 27th, www.rockhardfestival.de). So "Rock Hard" continues the nice tradition of making a band with progressive touches more accessible for the head bangers each year. The festival in the Gelsenkirchen Amphitheatre is well-known for its top organisation and great atmosphere. A Spock's Beard European tour is prepared for May.

The new album Scarsick by Daniel Gildenl?w and Pain Of Salvation, to be released on January 19th, is much more direct and straight-forward than their previous album Be. Even though Gildenl?w is in general famous for his philosophical approach on song lyrics; on this album, however, he presents lyrics that are more to the point, particularly with regard to US politics of the last few years.

Pain Of Salvation will be touring Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden and Switzerland in February and March. On 21st January a release party with a one-hour acoustic performance will take place in Athens (info at: www.underworldclub.gr).

Dominci - that's simply the name of the new band project by Charlie Dominici, who - as Dream Theater's vocalist back in 1989 - had a decisive part in their debut When Dream And Day Unite. This album is regarded as a milestone of prog metal. Dominici has gathered new musicians and managed to get hold of a deal with InsideOut Music. They will release the album O3 A Trilogy, Part Two by the end of February.

"Somehow one gets the feeling that this sound comes from far away - from somewhere outside, not from this world," reads one entry regarding Pure Reason Revolution in the forum of the German Rolling Stone. The Dark Third, the debut album of this young new artrock band came out in their home country Great Britain and in the US a few months ago. For the rest of the world the rights were secured by InsideOut Music. On our label, the record The Dark Third will be released in mid of February featuring a bonus disc. Together with Blackfield, Pure Reason Revolution will tour Europe in February and March.

On InsideOut's re-issue sublabel Revisited Records four albums each by Holger Czukay (Canaxis, Radio Wave Surfer, Good Morning Story, Linear Story) and Klaus Schulze (Timewind, Trancefer, Drums 'N' Balls, Ballett 2) are released as well as three albums by Guru Guru (Don't Call Us, We Call You, Shake Well, Wah Wah).
