Topic: Album Release News

Among the batch of new releases from Musea Records is Transperception's Colour Green. Born on the progressive rock shores, nursed on the sunny strands of jazz-rock fusion and alternative musics, grown with the influences of world-music, Transperception offers a journey deep inside the heart of all of these styles...

Largely bottle-fed by the music of the giants of the Seventies, the melodies and harmonies of Colour Green (Musea Parallèle, 2011) also includes many moods and elements from the Eighties and the Nineties, not to mention the current trends, in order to depict a wide picture of the universes of progressive rock and alternative music. This first attempt has been entirely performed, drawn and designed by Djam Zaidi, a guitarist, singer, and computer mastermind. His vocal tone could be heard as a mix between IQ's Peter Nicholls and Soft Machine's Robert Wyatt. Colour Green is an invitation to take a ride in the deepest forests as well as to delve into the intricacies of our unconscious, as well as a testimony of what human kind reflects in this coming century.
