"I hope you are having a fantastic summer," writes Brislin in the latest Spiraling newsletter. "I'm writing to let you know that I'm recording my very first solo album, and I need your help to make it a reality.

"The album, due to be released in Fall 2011, is called Hurry Up And Smell The Roses and will feature 11 original tracks.
