The Safety Fire have had a busy first half of 2014, with the band touring both UK & Europe, and the US & Canada with their good friends Protest The Hero. While away on tour, the band filmed a brand new video for the track "Glass Crush," giving a glimpse into the high energy performances which have been impressing audiences for the past few months. Check the video out here: youtu.be/6NhyobLD5iQ.

The band also have a string of Summer festivals confirmed, and guitarist Derya 'Dez' Nagle had this to say about them: "'Glass Crush' is our R'n'B summer time classic, and what better way to celebrate that with a video. We'd like to see some lively dance moves at our summer festival appearances." [From the heart-pounding rhythm (mine is still thumpin' 3 minutes later), it'd be more like a moshpit methinks than anything even remotely resembling Dancing With The Stars or, for you older folks, Dance Fever -bad jokes ed.]

The dates can be found here:

July 5 - Sonisphere Festival, Knebworth - UK
July 10-14 - UK Tech Fest, Newark - UK
August 16 & 16 - Hevy Fest, Port Lympne - UK
October 2-4 - Euroblast Festival, Cologne - Germany

Last year The Safety Fire released their fantastic second album Mouth Of Swords to critical acclaim, and you can find some of the reactions below:

"...it's almost impossible not to be swept away in their swirling, writhing beauty" - 4K's - Kerrang!

"...stunning musicianship with an urgency and energy that's hard to catch on album" - 8/10 - Big Cheese

"From finger-breaking arpeggios, thundering low-end riffs and lightning fast tapping to delicate chordal parts and esoteric harmonies; it's all on display." - 4/5 - TotalGuitar
