Spock's Beard Announce New Album "The Oblivion Particle"

Legendary progressive-rockers Spock's Beard are pleased to announce that they will return with their brand new 12th studio album The Oblivion Particle, to be released at the end of August 2015.

Spock's Beard's forthcoming new studio album The Oblivion Particle is the follow-up to 2013's Brief Nocturnes And Dreamless Sleep. Find some press reactions to that record below and look out for more info in the coming weeks:

They will also head back to Europe later this year for a string of live dates in support of the record. The band will be joined by young UK act Synaesthesia and Hungarian band Special Providence.

They will also be on the Cruise To The Edge cruise/floating festival November 15 - 19, which sails from Florida to a private island in the Bahamas and back. Also on board will be Änglagård, Martin Barre, Big Elf, Allan Holdsworth, Anathema, Caravan, Enchant, IO Earth, Jolly, Marillion, Moon Safari, Nektar, PFM, Steve Rothery Band, Saga, Three Friends, Yes and others.

And, Spock's Beard and Enchant will play a joint show on August 29, 2015 at the Shannon Performing Arts Center at Whittier College in Whittier, CA. Tickets go on sale Saturday, May 30 at 8am at CalProg.com.
