Reminder: The Red Masque To Play Live Dec 8

Just a reminder that The Red Masque will be playing live on December 8th at 8 PM at The Highwire Gallery, 2040 Frankford Ave. Phila, PA (, a live benefit concert at the new arts venue for the Highwire Gallery in Philadelphia. Partial proceeds of the $5 cover charge will go towards the new space. Additional acts include Radio Eris ( and Bonnie MacAllister ( See our Nov 12 item with more details.

In addition to this December 8th concert, The Red Masque have just booked January 16th (Wednesday) at the Khyber in Philadelphia. Featured acts will be Jen Molloy & Exit and Baptist Preachers. One other act will be announced shortly. The band will also play at a private performance on January 26th in New Jersey.

The Red Masque have also been scheduled to perform at an international music festival in summer 2008. The festival will not make any official announcements about the line up until later in December, so the Red Masque will not announce the name of the festival until this time.

Art Exhibit!

In other news, TRM vocalist Lynnette Shelley will be exhibiting (and selling) two of her artworks ("Red Dragon No. 5" and "The Eagle") at a community gallery/performance space, The Well, on December 16th. The Well is located in Feasterville, PA and will feature works by other artists as well as some live music. Besides this group exhibition, Lynnette will have a solo exhibition of about a dozen of her works from August 1, 2008 to September 30, 2008 at the High Point Cafe (602 W. Carpenter Lane, Mount Airy, 215-849-5153) in Philadelphia. In addition, her artwork "Red Dragon No. 4" is currently for sale at the Red House in the East Falls area of Philadelphia. This new arts store features all local artisans and crafters.
