    Just a couple of "smaller" items to post here: One, Aeon Zen released the video for "Unite," the first single from their new album Ephemera. You can watch the video here. [Kinda funny, the South Park inspired parts... not sure really what the rest is about exactly other than it's an obviously beleagered IT person] ...... Secondly, Big Elf released the video for "Control Freak," a track from their latest album Into The Maelstrom, which can be viewed here [and dedicated by me to all the control freaks in my life ;-) - ed.]....

    In a post/email on July 9, Grey Lady Down announced: "Hi all! Sorry we've been quiet lately. We are still in the process of trying to track down that elusive new singer, but in the meantime, you have a chance to see us live in August! We will be playing outside the Brasenose Arms for the Fringe of the wonderful Cropredy Festival in rural north Oxfordshire on Saturday August 9th at noon precisely. The gig is free of charge.

    Concerts: Unreal City Ask Fans For Help To Crowd-Fund Their 2015 Tour

    "Italian progressive rockers Unreal City ask progressive rock fans to back [their] crowd-funding appeal for a tour planned for 2015. The band released their debut album La Crudelta Di Aprile in 2013, and are currently working on its follow-up, which will be released in January 2015 on AMS Records," writes ProgSphere Promotions.

    They have recently started an Indiegogo campaign, that would bring the band on the road in 2015 to promote their upcoming release. For many interesting perks log on to the campaign page at this location.

    Dutch Symphonic Metallers Epica have announced the second leg of their European Enigma Tour. The band will tour in support of their latest album The Quantum Enigma, which was released on May 02, 2014 via Nuclear Blast.

    UK Power Metal Giants DragonForce are confirmed as very special guest on both the first and second leg of the European Enigma Tour.

    Festival Music/F2 Music are proud to announce the signing of Agnieszka Swita to the label, and the release of her excellent debut solo album Sleepless, which was released 09 June 2014.

    Agnieszka is best known for her work with Clive Nolan on the Caamora, She, and Alchemy projects, and Clive plays keyboards on this album, and also wrote the title track. As well as Clive, the band also includes Andy Faulkner (Twelfth Night, Jump) on bass, Steve Harris (Ark, Paul Menel Band) on guitars and Dave Mackintosh (from Grammy nominated power metal band DragonForce) on drums.

    Concerts: Allan Holdsworth Is Back On The Road

    Since the end of the last European tour in November of 2012, Allan Holdsworth has performed only 3 shows with his own band, made one guest appearance with local Los Angeles musicians, and made one special appearance at the Crossroads Festival in New York City as guest of Kurt Rosenwinkel's band. Now, the guitar master is back, accompanied by Jimmy Haslip on bass and Virgil Donati on drums (from August 13 until September 4), and Gary Husband on drums and Haslip on bass (from September 17 until October 5). Please note, there will be no European gigs whatsoever this year, but a few short European tours are planned for 2015.

Many famous musicians are involved in such as Mark Boals (FireWind, Yngwie Malmsteen), Mike Lepond (Symphony X), Rob Rock (Impellitteri), Chris Adler (Lamb of God), Tommy Denander (Toto, Michael Jackson, Alice Cooper), Joe Stump (Reign of Terror, Raven Lord), John Macaluso (Ark, LaBrie, Yngwie Malmsteen), Andy Midgley (Power Quest), just to name a few.

    Recording will happen this year and the release date of the album is expected for late 2015.
