Come on, Powergod! I know that you can do better than this piece of metal shite-ness. Just when I thought it was safe to assume Sacred Steel and Dokken had taken the vote on the year's worst (2002) along comes your new album, your fourth, a continuation of a theme. Welcome to - a waste of webspace; sorry, welcome to - Nemesis - Evilution Part III.

I thought that after the electrifying variation of metal covers on Powergod's last album Bleed For The Gods that we'd be in for a new look, new feel, and a new sound Powergod. Well, that's partly true, but what is also partly true is that this is just horrifying. They've tried to implement as many different styles into one album, but it is a very rare and very talented band that can manage to pull that off - and Powergod is not that band. Songs that are all over the place, little consistency, and an album that's difficult to get into. I don't even feel like sitting here and trying to get the positives out of this album because there really aren't many.

For varied fans of thrash, death, and Accept-like heavy metal - then this album "may" have credence in your CD collection (note the word "may," I didn't say "will"). For those that don't have an affinity to those styles, save your money and go and buy something else. This is tragic.
