The German band Voice is now back with their second album. I really enjoyed their debut CD and I was really excited to get the new CD as I'd heard it was a monster!

Voice offer 9 songs of first class kickass melodic power metal/heavy metal. When the opening track starts you know you are in for a winner. The sound is huge and powerful, with big catchy guitar riffing, pounding drums, tasty keyboards, awesome mid-ranged vocals and a topnotch production. While the songs are all very powerful and rather heavy, they maintain a melodic touch, which will attract the listener. The melody-lines are first class and the bridges and choruses are of the kind you can sing along to, with big background choirs. The songwriting and arrangements are very good and Voice comes off as a very confident band. They have also managed to keep enough variation within each song, which makes it even more impressive and interesting to listen to. Clean guitar parts, piano led parts, instrumental parts, and keyboards parts.

Voice has released one of the best melodic power metal releases this year and with this album they will hopefully rise from the underground and establish themselves among the best of them. This album is a must for all fans of the genre and once again a big thank you to AFM/Shark records for believing in these bands!
