Excellent instrumental progressive - melodic, memorable, falling squarely in between contemporary instrumental (or New Age) and so called neo-progressive rock. Brought to mind are David Lanz, Steve Pasero and Christopher Bock, Acoustic Alchemy, and Paul Speer. And yet there are passages here that will remind of Marillion and the like, mainly the keyboard arrangements. But, Edhels' are far more lush and synphonic.

There are many extremely beautiful passages ... the whole album is well composed. "Christine Feline Girl" begins with a main melody that has a very 70's TV theme music feel to it (the album was released in 1988). I can imagine many a 70's cop show using this in the title sequence. That isn't meant to be negative criticism by any means - it is a good track - but that the note progression, choice of instruments, etc. lead to that feeling.

The final track is a whismical, flamenco-esque acoustic guitar duet. Highly Recommended.
