Aardvarks - Bargain

Year of Release: 1995
Label: Delerium
Catalog Number: Delec CD 029
Format: CD
Total Time: 39:42:00

Firmly rooted in the mod-period, this CD-debut has become a nice taster for everyone who?s into Small Faces, the Move and the Kinks but also The Jam, Dukes of Stratosfear, and the more contemporary Blur. No fewer than twelve well crafted popsongs full of swirling Hammond-organ, rough guitars and sing-a-long tunes make out the entire menu.

Their spontaneous way of playing together with their love for the lesser known names out of the garage-punk explosion such as Fleur de Lys, Sorrows, Creation, Eyes, The Litter, Chocolate Watch Band, Sonics, and Wimple Winch has contributed to their original sound which clearly is a mix between beat and soul. Highly recommended for those of you who still have their hearts in the centre of "swinging London." Close your eyes and dance along with Twiggy. The option is entirely yours again!
