I would like to start this review off by saying that this album is a long lost early progressive rock classic that you have been looking for and cannot live without. Alas, this is not true this time around.

Chirco created Visitation, which was the only album they would ever record. It was an ambitious for its day yet was lacking in many areas for the right formula for success. The first drawback I noticed was the weak vocals, and then the recording requires that you crank it up high just to get a minimum of volume from your stereo. I have noticed that some LPs need some turning up, and quite a bit more just to reach the decibel level of CDs. In this case, it was more evident than ever before. Although there are major inconsistencies with this recording, it does have its moments in the sun. The instrumental breaks are very good at times showing that this group had a lot of potential. They could have developed into an important force in progressive rock if they had another shot in the studio. It was not this group's destiny to carve a path to musical immortality though.

This one is strictly for collectors or for those that may have strong ties to the people involved with the band when this all was happening. I just do not think that this album was that good and it could have been so much more.
