Stock is the third release by RPWL, ex-Pink Floyd German cover band. Even if this is the third album, it is, sadly, the first that has had an Italian distribution.

This album is full of leftover pieces and rarities, but this doesn?t mean that the songs are of a low grade quality.

The tracks are rather short, excepting "Gentle Art Of Swimming," and have a particular approach: they have a marked pop feeling, with great importance given to the melodies; and the singer Yogi Lang acts sometimes like David Gilmour.

To these successful melodies is added a psychedelic component, represented by long keyboards sections where the two players play duets/duels.

Often the atmospheres are melancholic and dark, in a perfect style a la Pink Floyd. And this is the greatest limit of the band: they haven?t achieved their own personality yet. Their sound owes to the English band too much, not giving anything new to the prog scene.

The second disc is a DVD where you can find a video on the history of the band and tour, plus the same songs in Dolby Surround 5.1 mix.
