London Underground - Through A Glass Darkly

	Reviewed by: Davide Guidone, April 2004 London Underground publishes its second release, this time for the French Musea Records label. The group sees the presence of a couple of members of the well known Italian prog band, Standarte, like Daniele Caputo and Stefano Gabbani. The music introduced to us on this record shows a vintage prog that represents a real fashion in this period in Italy (La Maschera Di Cera and Areknames to mention a couple). The Hammond organ is the main instrument on this album and all the melodies are taken from the Seventies. And this is the main goal of this excellent combo. The songwriting is quite good and the atmospheres are dreamy; they bring you to journey through the past and it’s fascinating for this reason mostly; even if I don’t prefer this kind of vintage prog. I think this is the best album from Musea in quite a short period.
