The English pomp rock Magnum publishes the new album Brand New Morning. The band one more time shows the brilliant voice of Bob Catley, a great singer who has released a lot of albums of his own. His vocals aren’t perfect for this album. I preferred his performance on his solo albums or in his appearances on the Nolan and Wakeman works. The music has a very clear production and has a powerful sound, sort of hard rock with some keyboards arrangements.
The album doesn’t introduce any new elements; it is the same good hard rock album as always. So if you like Magnum and their style, you won’t deny this new release.
Rating: 3.5/5
