Next to a cleaned up version of the original music, the re-issue of The Wedge also includes all of the material from the The Knightmoves EP from 1985. The Wedge also was the very first album with singer Alan Reed, a guy who still fronts the band to this very day. Immediately a different, more professional side was taken. The CD-Rom part includes a mere twelve photos from that particular period plus a video recording for "Win Or Lose," recorded before the actual recording and thus minus the overdubs! For those of you who still have the original vinyl issue: the only reason to stick with that format might be for the sleeve design. If you're only concerned about the music then feel priviliged this little beauty has finally been released on CD. [Actually, it was before as Knightmoves To Wedge - ed.]
