Let's give credit where it is due, Starcastle was a progressive band who made it to the big time, and we all know what a rare event that was, even during the small window of time of the genre's heyday. Starcastle was also made up of very good musicians, as one can decipher from listening to this disc. What Starcastle was not was original. Starcastle's sound is highly derivative, taking most of its influence from Yes, with a splash of ELP thrown in on some keyboard sections. That is really all you need to know, if you like that Yes sound, and are looking for something similar, Starcastle will not disappoint.
