Palooza is an interesting word isn't it? Perry Farell didn't know what he started when he came up with that did he? This is Guitarapalooza, remember that. There is this wonderful site on the Internet called www.guitarapalooza.com where artists can go and get lessons, articles, artist profiles, audio samples, and more. The site is a non-profit operation run by some of the forty members that currently are affiliated with it. These two discs can only be purchased at the site, so save yourself some time and don't bother looking anywhere else. They are exclusive recordings made especially to promote the independent artists represented on the site.

Now for the music ... does it ever impress. All of it is instrumental and its a combination of hard rocking, acoustic, progressive, and more. It's a literal melting pot of artists that will expose you to a myriad of styles and genres. Simply put, it doesn't fall short in the variety category. I found this magnificent music and the site by introducing myself to Jaye Foucher, who happens to be a real kick ass guitarist herself, and asking her for a promo of her latest CD. I subsequently listened to it, was totally blown away, then found out she was a big part of this very cool site. She was very accommodating and sent copies of both volumes.

If you're an artist, particularly a guitar player, and you want a wonderful source of information and an opportunity to network with other musicians, you really need to join with the others on this site. Make sure you pick up copies of these CDs they are quite extraordinary. I can hardly wait to see if a volume three is coming. Hey, I am not a guitar player, but if I were, I would join forces with the other artists on the site and have some fun, that's for sure. As a fan and an avid listener of instrumental rock, this was musical paradise my rock lovin' friends. Get your self a slice of this now, and do it before you become worm food!
