Vision Divine come back with a new release after the great success of Stream Of Consciousness. The band headed by the ex-Labyrinth guitarist Olaf Thorsen shows how they can improve again with this The Perfect Machine.

The album is a new concept based on a discovery by a scientist that let the people have eternal life. Musically, the band gives us a mix between power, prog and hard rock, derived by the experiences of Olaf Thorsen, Oleg Smirnoff (ex-Eldritch) and Michele Luppi, who has a strong AOR and hard rock background.

Everything is well performed and it continues the path of Stream Of Consciousness, but with a more mature approach and more variety in its entirety.

A particular mention goes to "Here In 6048," a piece that starts like a ballad, and then evolves into a great progressive section where the guitars are leading.

Vision Divine confirm their ability with this opus. Well done!
