Festival News: RoSfest Announces Tempustry To Appear On Friday Night

Posted on Saturday, October 21 @ 21:48:59 UTC by nightowl

The Rites of Spring Festival is excited to announce US electronic music project, Tempustry, as the first act to take the stage on Friday Night.

Allen Brunelle is no stranger in the prog scene. His live performances on drums with Iluvatar (neo-prog), The Dark Aether Project (prog), Architectural Metaphor (space rock), and Todesbonden (Celtic/renaissance metal) have put him in front of audiences in Argentina, Canada, and throughout the US. In 2005, Allen released the Le Voyage Du Temps CD as Tempustry, his electronic music project.

"Le Voyage Du Temps recalls some of the pioneers who blazed a trail for electronic progressive way back when the iconic Moog synthesizer ruled the realm. Names like Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream and Jean Michel Jarre." - Progression Magazine

"If you like the past masters and grand gurus of kosmische musik, you'll like Tempustry's Le Voyage Du Temps." - Aural Innovations

Coinciding with Tempustry's appearance at RoSfest, Tempustry's 2nd CD release, Astral Gate promises to be an all-out unrestrained assault and innovative blurring of Berlin & Dusseldorf schools of electronic music. Tempustry's live show will be equally unparalleled as Allen performs with a vintage keyboard/drum stage setup that boggles the imagination, surrounded by Moog, Oberheim, and Roland analog synthesizers, sequencers, vintage Simmons and Tama electronic percussion, Zildjian cymbals, Celtic Bells, and Tama Gong Bass Drum.

Joining Allen on Astral Gate in the studio and live on stage at RoSfest will be long-time friend and fellow synthesist, Jim Rezek (Iluvatar) on mellotron and synthesizers. Compositions will meld spacey and ethereal soundscapes, soaring leads, and subsonic salvos of electronic and acoustic motorik.
