CD/DVD Releases: Festival Music Announce The Release Of Manning's ''Number Ten''

Festival Music are pleased to announce the release of a brand new studio CD by Manning, the band put together by Guy Manning (solo artist, multi instrumentalist and member of The Tangent). This is Guy's 10th CD, appropriately called Number Ten, and sees the band take the Manning sound to another level, with superb melodies throughout. Released on the Festival Music label, it follows Songs From The Bilston House, a CD that continues to receive excellent reviews from around the world. The official release date is 14 February 2009, but you can PRE-ORDER this CD now, and pre-orders will be sent out from 01 January 2009!

English Boy Wonders released as a digipack with a 12 page booklet featuring new artwork from Jim Trainer. The CD is almost 80 minutes long and contains a bonus track which was recorded at the time of the original sessions but has been previously unavailable. The bonus track features the keyboard work of Martin Orford. English Boy Wonders was previously released in a semi-complete state on the GEP label in 1997 and has been unavailable for many years. For the 2008 re-release, the band have returned to the original master tapes and have re-recorded much of the album. Additional sections of music have also been recorded to complete the album as it was originally intended. The album has been entirely remixed and remastered by Rob Aubrey (IQ, Spock's Beard, Transatlantic, Pendragon, etc.).

For the first time ever, Annie Haslam and Michael Dunford of Renaissance have gone back to their archives, and located the much rumoured but pristine 1978 concert recording at Philly's most famous venue The Tower Theatre. This incredible performance includes wonderful favourites like "Carpet Of The Sun," and several lengthy tracks like the fifteen minute "Can You Hear Me," as well as more tracks from all of their key albums like Ashes Are Burning, Turn Of The Cards and Novella. Include new liners from the band, as well as unique artwork graphics designed by Annie herself!
