About the bands:

Testament is a thrash metal legend active since 1983 which enjoys an almost maniac adoration by their fans. Not only did those Americans create the foundations of the thrash metal genre, but they also developed their own distinctive sound which won them a stable position in the metal Pantheon, next to such bands as Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth. At the Metalmania Festival the band will perform in their classic line-up: Chuck Billy (vocals), Alex Skolnick (guitar), Eric Peterson (guitar), Greg Christian (bass) plus a guest musician from Craddle of Filth: Nicholas Baker (drums). It is with pride and joy to invite to such a gig, which is going to be one of the most important musical events in 2007!

In a career that has spanned 17 years (and counting), Paradise Lost have sold a staggering two million albums worldwide. Their constant reinvention and brazen attitude to musical experimentation has always allowed them to maintain a constant relevance despite the myriad fads and short-lived scenes that have emerged over the last two decades. Their self titled tenth studio album, released in 2005, has come full circle. It was a proof that this band is as vital, as challenging and as dynamic as ever. Paradise Lost recently announced plans to enter the studio in Bradford, Lincolnshire and Canada with producer Rhys Fulber and mixer Mike Fraser to begin recording their as-yet-untitled eleventh album. A spring 2007 release is expected. Current line-up: Nick Holmes (vocal), Gregor Mackintosh (guitar), Aaron Aedy (guitar) and Stephen Edmondson (bass).

My Dying Bride - doom metal band from England formed in the summer of 1990. A Line Of Deathless Kings, a new album released in October 2006, is their ninth studio effort and reunites the six-piece with long-time collaborator/producer Mags (who recorded the bands initial compositions). Mixed at The Chapel Studios in Lincolnshire and mastered at famed Abbey Road Studios in London, it was a highly anticipated return for a pioneering band. It also introduces new drummer John Bennett. Current line-up: Aaron Stainthrope (vocal), Adrian Jackson (bass), Hamish Glencross (guitar), Andrew Craighan (guitar), Sarah Stanton (keyboards) and John Bennett (drums).

Sweden for [a] long [time] has been the modern epicenter of serious metal music, and has produced some of today's leading scene veterans. Beginning as the earliest incarnation of a teenage metal band, Entombed have sustained their unique Rot 'n' Roll sound throughout the years. Sweden's three times Grammy nominated Godfathers of Death 'n' Roll, continue their 16-year anniversary with a new album Serpent Saints to be released in early 2007. Meanwhile an mini-album entitled When In Sodom-ep saw the light of day 06-06-06 featuring 5 new Entombed songs. Current line-up: LG Petrov (vocals), Alex Hellid (guitars), Nico Elgstrand (bass), Peter Starjnwind (drums).

Many of Korpiklaani's songs come directly from the annals of the Finnish folk archives, but are activated with a fierce twist of metal. Korpiklaani's music is very Finnish and the band does not fear to be labeled "yokels," living in the middle of the forest. They prefer to draw inspiration from their surroundings as they so skillfully did on their 2003 debut, "Spirit of the Forest". The album presented an indisputable Folk Metal achievement. Its musicality, varying from the mysteriously charming instrumental compositions to the "humppa" melodies that immediately invite the listener to dance along and reflect the entire spectrum of the Finnish Folk Metal art. Tervaskanto, their fourth album is scheduled to be released in April 2007. Current line-up: Jonne (guitars, vocals), Matson (drums), Hittavainen (violin, jouhikko, woodwinds), Jarkko (bass), Cane (guitars), Juho (accordion).

Zyklon - Norwegian black death metal band featuring Emperor members Samoth (guitar) and Trym (drums). Zyklon's third album, Disintegrate, was released in May 2006 via Candlelight Records. The CD recorded at Akkerhaugen Lydstudio in Norway and was mixed at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden got fantastic reviews in metal press around the world. Current line-up: Samoth (guitar), Trym (drums), Destructhor (lead-guitar), Secthdamon (bass & vocals).

Poland will be represented by 2TM2,3, one of the most original and unique bands here. It's a rock-metal group that for the main inspiration took the Bible. In September 2006 2TM2,3 released "888", first studio album in 6 years! The album was warmly received both by music press and fans. It's one of the best selling metal record of 2006! Current line-up: Tomasz Budzyński (vocal), Robert Drezek (guitar), Robert Friedrich (guitar), Krzysztof Kmiecik (bass), Dariusz Malejonek (vocal), Piotr Zyzelewicz (drums), Tomasz Goehs - (drums), Joszko Broda.

Blaze Bayley - ex-vocalist of Iron Maiden - comes to Poland with his new band Blaze. He was the lead singer in Iron Maiden for five years, during which time he recorded two albums, the X-Factor (1995) and Virtual XI (1998). Since parting company with Iron Maiden in early 1999, Blaze Bayley has put his own band together called Blaze. They have recorded three studio albums so far, Silicon Messiah (2000), Tenth Dimension (2002), Blood And Belief (2004) and a live CD As Live As It Gets (2003). The band is currently working on their new album to be released in March/April 2007.

Crystal Abyss is a black metal band from Russia often compared to Dimmu Borgir. The band was formed in Moscow in May 1998 and has already a cult status over there. Their debut album from 2001 Sageness Fallen was recognized as a best debut record on a metal scene. To promote the album Crystal Abyss went on a mini-tour with a final show on the 7th of November in Moscow's "R-club," which was considered as one of the greatest events in Russian underground scene for years. The band is working currently on a new album which will be recorded in Poland in 2007.
