Posted on Sunday, December 12 @ 21:00:00 UTC by nightowl

Cardinal Points is Legend?s fourth studio recording and their sixth release since their founding in 1988. It is a concept piece exploring the four points of the compass and their connection to the four elements of Earth, Air, Fire and Water that are the cornerstones of a lot of western mysticism. The album comprises of four tracks the shortest being a shade under 13 minutes. and the longest over 16 minutes. The whole album weighs in at just under an hour of continuous music.

The sound is typical Legend with folk and symphonic elements woven into a solid rock format. With powerful vocals soaring over a dynamic musical backdrop ranging from delicate and introverted acoustic passages through driving hard rock to epic symphonic crescendos.

Due February 2011 from NoFish Productions (NF CD 3) and featuring the new lineup of:

Kerry Parker: Vocals
Steve Paine: Keyboards
Dave Foster: Guitars
Dan Nelson: Bass
John Macklin: Drums

This promises to be Legend?s most epic recording to date!
