Guy Manning posted on September 7 the following: "Always a nerve wracking time of year having invested so much time into making the thing, comes the time when it has to be let out into the 'wild'... so be free...!

"New new album [Margaret's Children] can be pre-ordered from our website now and the weekly BIOGs will continue to be published from there, too. Manning's publishing bios of the characters, which tie in with each of the seven tracks.

Danish guitarist Niels Vejlyt (Infinity Overture / Consortium Project) sees the release of his debut instrumental album Sthenic on September 16th. Niels has just finished the video for the track "Die Today" which can be viewed here.

The album Sthenic serves up 8 tracks which will appeal to fans of the likes of Jeff Loomis, John Petrucci and Steve Vai. In addition the album also comes packaged with a bonus DVD featuring a host of guitar related goodies.

Italian metallers Mastercastle have just unveiled the promotional video for the track "Sakura." This song represents their offering to the Lion Music Japan Benefit Project Embrace The Sun release back in June 2011, which sees all artist, label and publishing royalties donated to the Japanese Red Cross in the aftermath of the tragic events of March 2011.

Dutch symphonic metallers Epica have issued the following update: "As of today, Epica has started the recordings for their fifth full-length album. This still-untitled album will expectedly be released by Nuclear Blast on March 9th, 2012. Epica entered the famous Gate Studios in Germany once more to work with world-renowned producer Sascha Paeth [Kamelot, Avantasia, Rhapsody Of Fire]. First up is Ariƫn Van Weesenbeek to record his drum parts."

A CD-release party for the new Epica album will be held on March 16, 2012 at 013 in Tilburg, Netherlands. Commented the band: "As our previous CD presentation (Design Your Universe at Paradiso in Amsterdam) sold out in advance, we have decided to play the next one in a slightly bigger club." Epica will play the new album in its entirety, along with some older tracks, during the more-than-two-hour event. Pyrotechnics and special show elements will be added as well.

Epica's latest album, Design Your Universe, landed at position No. 12 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
