CD/DVD Releases: The Square Hippies Release Round Debut
The Square Hippies emerged in the year of 2004 to entertain South-German coffee-house people with their distinctive unplugged versions of favourite rock-songs. But it wasn't for long, since they realized that this wasn't enough noise for them so they transformed into a rock-cover-band including electrified guitars and heavy organs. When finally one by one of the band-members outet themselves as addicted to creativity, they decided to write their own songs and conserve them on CD for future generations. The whole thing appeared to sound like a colourful mix of AOR, Progressive Rock, psychedelic loans and bluesy attitudes, in which each individual member of the band could invest his musical roots.
