Other: Voting For The Annual Metal Storm Awards Begins
The voting for the annual Metal Storm Awards, presented by the European webzine Metal Storm, has just started!
This year, Vanden Plas is nominated in the "Best Progressive Metal Album" category as well as for the "Best Cover Song" (for "Gethsemane"). Only 11 bands are pre-selected by the metalStorm team to compete for the Awards. [Other artists on the Best Progressive Metal Album list are Adagio, Andromeda, Beyond Twilight, Cloudscape, Communic, Evergrey, To-Mera, Wastefall and Wolverine... plus, several "write-in" candidates have been voted for. In all there are 17 genre categories, 7 "other" categories (best cover song, best DVD, etc.) and 1 special award - The Best Drama, which seems to have one nominee, Rhapsody, now known as Rhapsody of Fire, and perhaps not even open to a vote... -ed.]
