Landmarq (UK), Knight Area (NL), Martigan (DE) and Silhouette (NL) are the bands for the 7th edition of ROCK ITtervoort. For the first time in history their will be 4 bands performing at ROCK ITtervoort. As usual these bands come all across Europe. This year one English, one German and two Dutch bands will visit the small village Ittervoort to do their shows.

This annual prog-event will take place at the 19th of April 2013 at C.C. de Mortel in Ittervoort (NL). Ittervoort is situated in the Euregio, in the south of the Netherlands, nearby Germany and Belgium. In previous editiosn of ROCK ITtervoort bands as Arena, Pendragon and Riverside did some outstanding and mostly sold-out shows. Over the years, the festival has had visitors from many European countries and even from Turkey and the US.

Landmarq: With a long reputation as one of the UK’s finest progressive rock bands, Landmarq make a triumphant return in 2012 with the release of their stunning new album Entertaining Angels ("Without doubt the strongest album of their career," Nick Shilton, PROG Magazine). Now in their twenty-second year, Landmarq have established themselves as one of the most accomplished, melodic and technically astute bands in the genre, having also played gigs in the UK, Europe, USA and Mexico. The band are fronted by and feature the stunning vocals of Tracy Hitchings, who has been twice voted "Best Female Vocalist" in the UK-based Classic Rock Society annual members poll. To complement the release of their new album, Landmarq played a small series of live dates in 2012 in the UK, Europe and beyond. One of these gigs will be fully headline show at ROCK ITtervoort 2013.

Knight Area: This Dutch band plays symphonic rock music, also classified as neo-progressive rock. The music blends a variety of styles using very melodic keyboards and guitars, The dynamic songs vary from ballads to more rock and metal kind of music. The band was founded in 2004 and made 4 studio albums and one double live album. Over the years Knight Area has played many shows around the world like NEARfest (US), FMPM (Canada) and Night of the Prog in Germany. Their last CD Nine Paths was released in 2011 and was mixed by the vary famous Neal Kernon. In 2007 Knight Area also played at ROCK ITtervoort. We're proud to see them back, now as the number one proband from The Netherlands.

Martigan: The German band Martigan was founded in 1994 and plays neo-progressive rock influenced by bands as Marillion and Genesis. Over the past 18 years they have made 4 albums. All those albums were highly credited by the music-press. They played several shows in Germany and abroad. In 2011 they played at the very famous Night of the Prog festival at the Lorely (DE). Silhouette: Silhouette is the rising star of the Dutch progressive rock scene. They were founded in 2005 and made three albums. Their latest effort, Across The Rubicon got worldwide very good credits. Their sound has influences from bands as IQ and Pendragon. The three excellent vocalists makes their sound very unique.
