Artist News: Pink Floyd At Pompeii Trailer
While I won't turn the news page into an advertisement page, I do want to do something with it.* So... why not start here:
Pink Floyd will release Pink Floyd At Pompeii on April 24 in a newly restored 4K format on May 2, 2025.
The audio has been enhanced by Steven Wilson (of Porcupine Tree fame, as well as his own solo work) - who is no stranger to remixing/revitalizing audio as he put his talents to a number of works over the last several years.
The formats include double-LP (black vinyl), 2CD, Blu-Ray, and DVD (but I do not see at the Pink Floyd store a bundle version, so "each sold separately").
The movie will also play in select theaters on April 24. Find show times near you at www.pinkfloyd.film. And if you think it will just be at big theaters in big cities, I was surprised to see it will be playing at the theater down the street from me in my tiny little town.
*as so many bands can now push their news immediately via "the socials," reposting news (as I was, sharing press releases) seems passé in 2025. But I also hope to not only post when a musician or journalist passes...
