CD/DVD Releases: Jon Anderson & The Band Geeks To Release Live Set
Coming out today, coincidentally, is the live release Live - Perpetual Change (Frontiers) by Jon Anderson & The Band Geeks. I say coincidentally because I am flipping through emails from the end of January and happened upon this item in (another) Louder/Prog Mag news update. That update was about a video released to promote Live - Perpetual Change, featuring the band performing "Your Move - I've Seen All Good People."
The link to the video is below. While people shouldn't be amazed that Jon Anderson sounds as good as he did in his younger days, people are. (All good people?) But, it is true that one's voice changes over time, life-events can have an affect. Erm, perpetual change, as it were.* Well, time and life-events have been kind to Jon. He sounds great here. And the Band Geeks, all younger gents (and they are all gents), sound great, too -- vocally and instrumentally.
Live - Perpetual Change is released as a CD/DVD set, Blu-Ray, and a 3LP edition.
*none of these clever (or not) references are why I posted this. The performance in the video is why. Another coincidence - today's t-shirt is a Yes t-shirt, classic logo. It was a random selection, but perhaps also subconsciously because I'm also catching up on the Jan issue of the printed Prog magazine... featuring Yes and Relayer (though this song is not from that album).
