Jan Fourteen and the Cryptic Clues: Live At The Target: Live At The Peel - Almost exactly 31 years ago, a famous Reading-based progressive rock band recorded a ground-breaking live instrumental album in a small pub venue in the Home Counties ... and, in 2012 the sights and sound of 1981 were recreated by group, performing tracks from this album, live, for one night only at the Peel: the home of progressive rock in Kingston, Surrey, UK. The legendary Twelfth Night announced the return of original guitarist Andy "Rev" Revell, after an absence of a couple of years. The band featured the awesome multi-talented Mark Spencer, and Dean Baker (from Galahad) on keyboards, as well as ever-present members Clive Mitten (bass) and Brian Devoil (drums). The first set comprised tracks from the Live At The Target album/period. Then after a short interval the band returned to the stage to run through some more favourites, primarily taken from the Fact And Fiction period. This unique, one-off concert was held on Saturday 14th January 2012. [So yeh, we're posting this post event... -ed.]
