Some news bits we've been collecting over the last couple of weeks: As IQ celebrates its 35th anniversary (!), they announced this past Wednesday (Mar 23) two upcoming live dates - the first is on December 17, 2016 at the O2 Academy, Islington, London "for a night of Christmas shindigging and IQ35 goodness," they note. The second date is a full year plus away, April 22, 2017 at The Robin 2 in Bilston, England. If that's not enough live IQ, they are also headlining the Summer End's festival on October 1, 2016. (Also on the bill: Magic Pie, Knight Area, RPWL and Karnataka, among others.

In earlier news, they announced that a one-off screening of "Subterranea, the film based on IQ's double album of the same name [...] will take place at the prestigious ICA in The Mall on Sunday 1st May.

"After the show there will be a Q&A with Director Matthew Miller and members of the band.

"This small arts cinema has a limited number of seats and we’re expecting this event to sell out quickly, so grab your tickets while you can." [Source: IQ]
