Omni sent the following press release - in Spanish, which follows; below is the English translation:

La Escuela de Hosteler?a de Jerez will play host on November 6 to Omni (from Spain) and Cast, the "union of two of the best exponents of Hispanic symphonic progressive rock." Cast, the band led by keyboardist Alfonso Vidales, arrives at Jerez with a new lineup that includes musicians united with other recent additions to the more classical training. The Mexican progressive rock band, born in 1978, was inspired by the idea of creating music with symphonic passages and the art of progressive rock. With 13 studio albums, three live albums, and numerous appearances on compilation albums, Cast means the presence of Mexico in the world in what is the essence of progressive rock. After 29 years of existence, the band has accumulated a lot of performances outside Mexico with numerous appearances at festivals and concerts, putting them at the forefront of this genre.

Cast has been invited to give concerts in countries like England, Finland, Spain, Chile, Argentina, Costa Rica, Canada, USA, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Panama, France and Mexico; in fact, prior to this presentation , Cast will play at De Harmsdobbe, Bakkeveen (Netherlands) and march toward B?nde in Germany on the tour that will take Com.Union to different cities around the world. With Com.Union, the band follows a new musical style, with passages more intense thanks to the energy, virtuosity and interpretive maturity of its members. The band is composed of Alfonso Vidales (keyboards), Lupita Acuna (voices), Dino Brassea (voices), Jose Antonio Bringas (drums), Claudio Cordero (guitar), Flavio Miranda (bass), and, finally as a member and also member of Omni, saxophonist and flutist Pepe Torres.

For its part, Omni is today the best and largest banner of Spanish Progressive Rock. Gathering two performances at the prestigious festival Baja Prog in 2001 and 2002 (which surprised critics and the public for their symphonic sound, heir to the best traditions of Spanish bands such as Iman or Cai and other sounds such as Pink Floyd or Camel) or at festivals such as the International Music Jimena or I Progressive Rock Festival Spanish in Madrid, Omni returns to the scene of a progressive manner with overwhelming Was Only A Dream, about which was said "in carrying out valuable collections for progressive symphonic [compositions] sustained on the basis of musical romanticism, sometimes Andalusian, sometimes prog fusion, always progressive" (Manticornio.com) or "Was Only A Dream is a progressive [style to be] enjoyed, neither more nor less -- Omni is sufficient to continue being a strong progressive movement within Spain" (zafreth.com). Their return has been widely appreciated by the best international criticism reference sites as progarchives.com and the reception that the new disc has been garnering among progressive fans promises for the future unbeatable sextet Jerez. Michael Starry (guitar solo), Jesus Cabral (bass), John Rivers (rhythm guitar), Alberto Marquez (keyboards), Pepe Torres (flute, saxophone) and Ismael Colon (drums, percussion) wasted on stage at the School of Catering their most potent weapon: the ownership of a sound that is at once progressive, melting the Andalusian rock with the best of the current Anglo-Saxon genre.

The concert will start at 8:30 at the La Escuela de Hosteleria de Jerez (Industrial Park, Einstein Street No. 5, along with ring N-IV) on Tuesday, November 6 and entry is free. Thus La Escuela De Hosteleria and EH Productions was premiered at the conclusion of musical events with a concert that brings together two great bands with great musicians on its payroll. Do not to miss out!!!!!!!!!!
