Jolly good, or so it seems. Galileo Records shared, "Jolly is the newcomer of the year 2009 for the German magazine Eclipsed."

The band has a series of live dates this month, most of them supporting Riverside alongside Pure Reason Revolution. The first is the recently added date of April 10 - today! - at Arlene's Grocery in New York City. They, Riverside and PRR will be at the 013 in Tilburg, NL on April 23; at Turbinen Halle in Oberhausen, DE on April 24; Colos-Saal in Aschaffenburg, DE on April 25 and Z7 in Pratteln, CH on April 26. All shows start 19.00 with Jolly.



About Jolly: Jolly is a alternative progressive rock band from New York. Last year they made a debut album that can be seen as one of the best debut albums in the genre over the last years. Reviewers were talking in terms like deeply emotional, dark, hypnotic, rock music with depth, captivating. Fans of Porcupine Tree and Riverside will surely love the album. They are for the first time in Europe and will intoxicate the European audiences. Currently they are also working hard on a new album.

About Pure Reason Revolution: Pure Reason Revolution are a band of our time. They?ve already achieved 2 full length albums and one debut mini album. The first full length album The Dark Third, of which some mentioned that this sounded like Pink Floyd walking through the woods at dawn with Stevie Nicks. With this is the record where PRR escape reference points by assembling any influences with an even more developed sense of invention. It was received with raving reviews. The second full length release is the monumental Amor Vincit Omnia on which the band experimented more with electronic elements. With this great release the name of the band was established. In the live arena, they?ve played alongside the likes of Mew, Hope Of The States, Secret Machines, and Editors. Currently the band is working hard on a new album which will be released around the summer.

About Riverside: The band has grown in the past 4 years into to the top of the progressive rock scene. With a breathtaking mix of music in the vein of Tool, Dream Theater and Porcupine Tree they have taken the music scene by storm. Their latest studio album was album of the month in several magazines all over Europe and the album even went to the number 1 position in the album charts in Poland and turning into a gold record. After the highly successfull ADHD tour in the fall of 2009, with 45 shows for over 20.000 fans, they will return for a series of special shows.

This is a unique mixture of 3 top bands in the modern progressive rock world and it promises to be an evening to remember.
