RoSFest writes, "We are sad to announce that Unitopia have had to cancel their plans to perform at this year's RoSfest. Here is the letter we recieved from Unitopia:

Adelaide SA, April 8, 2010

It is with great disappointment that we had to cancel our trip to USA and will not make it to RoSfest. We have had complications with our travelling plans along with personal band issues that forced us to stay in Australia and deal with the situation to make us stronger for the future.

We would like to thank George Roldan for his kindness and understanding and all the RoSfest team for their availability and professionalism. We deeply apologize about the situation. We would have loved to perform there and meet everybody. We really hope we'll able to come back again in a near future. We will never thank you enough for all you've done for us.

We would also like to express our deepest apologies to the fans who were making the trip to Gettysburg to see us, we know how disappointed some of you will be. Mark and Sean are deeply upset about it. We want to thank you for your great support, we'll still need it to go on.

Our CD was to be launched at the festival on May 1st and RoSfest attendees were suppose to get our Special Edition Digipack first. We still want you to get your copy. So for those of you who will send us a print of your RoSfest ticket and details at info@unitopiamusic.com will be able to purchase a copy of Artificial signed by the band, plus an exclusive gift.

Again, our sincere apologies

The Unitopia team

"We here at RoSfest wish the band their best, and we appreciate their efforts to make the trek.

And without further ado ...

Oblivion Sun announced for RoSfest 2010

"Rosfest is very pleased to announce Oblivion Sun at RoSfest.

"Oblivion Sun features the compositional and performance skills of five musicians who are at ease with complex musical structures as well as frequent improvisations. The band was started by founding Happy The Man members Stanley Whitaker (guitar and vocals) and Frank Wyatt (keys, sax), along with Grammy? nominated engineer and keyboardist Bill Plummer. Their self-titled debut CD was released in 2007 to very positive reviews, followed by a series of well-received gigs that included ProgDay 2007 and NEARfest 2009. The new rhythm section of Bill Brasso (drums) and Dave Hughes (bass) joined the band in October 2009, just in time to participate in the composition and recording of their forthcoming second CD on Prophase Music.

"Oblivion Sun create a powerful, dynamic sound that aims to satisfy fans of all music. We are honored to have this great band grace our stage. The band is playing the second slot on Sunday. If you haven't yet purchased your tickets, now is the time to grab them as time is running out.
